AIM AND SCOPE

The IMC Journal of Medical Sciences (IMCJMS) is a bi-annual publication of Ibrahim Medical College. IMCJMS was previously known as Ibrahim Medical College Journal, which was launched in January 2007. The name of the Ibrahim Medical College Journal has been changed to IMCJMS by the Editorial Board effective January 2016. Each issue of the journal is published in January and July of each year.

The mission of the journal

is to provide a platform for researchers and scientists from within the country and abroad for rapid publication of new findings and observations on issues pertinent to medical education and health care; and related issues of population and nutrition. The Journal prefers articles on studies that are well designed and substantiated by adequate and reliable data. Preference is given to medical issues of the developing countries. The Journal publishes review articles, original articles, brief research notes , clinical case reports and perspectives. The information, opinion and statements in the individual article are the responsibility of its author(s).
